We visited this restaurant in May: four senior citizens, two thirty-somethings and their fourteen month old toddler, Iris. It was certainly quiet but small children eat early so we arrived around 17:30 and we couldn’t have asked for better service or food.
High chairs are provided and the staff were fabulous with the little one. They took our drinks orders first along with a food order for Iris and hers arrived first. They obviously know what it’s like eating out with small children and she was perfectly content until a while after our food arrived. The staff then took her for walks around the restaurant and gave us time to eat our first course and take over the walks. This process went on throughout our meal with Iris returning for the odd snack/drink then walking some more.
Admittedly this was a quiet time of day but the staff were so kind and such good fun – and the food was so scrumptious – that we all came away very happy and delighted with our choice of venue which, I must confess, was guided by our Tesco Boost vouchers.
Sadly we don’t have a Zizzi near us but we often visit Winchester so we’ll definitely be returning this restaurant and I don’t think Iris will mind one little bit!
