As you know, I am a bit picky about olives but their giant, green olives are wonderful – 20 of them served in a large chrome champagne glass for £3.95. The best I have tasted anywhere!
The main course was lamb & red pepper meatballs, pasta, smoked mozzarella, spinach and roast garlic in tomato sauce at £11.25 (no extra chilli by request). It was very hot and stayed hot to the end, so would be better if you are a couple and need to chat rather than a lone diner! I even managed to finish off a few more of the olives before the end of the meal. They have very tempting fruity, creamy desserts but that was too much for me – they do a sweet pizza too if you have space for it …yummy. This was a lovely meal, and the waiter was great making me feel very welcome as I was on my own. This is the place we will head for next time we visit Cardiff.
