One of the UK’s largest restaurants, this is a fixed price buffet with a difference. Inspired by Asian night markets, there is a variety of both ready to eat and cooked on the spot cuisines.
There’s always a guest cusine too. Staples include Chinese, British, Tex Mex,
Italian, sushi, salad bar, desserts including an ice cream Machine and a chcolate fountain, and my favourite, the Indian section.
You are given a fixed length of time for your table, think it is 1.5hours from memory, to allow everyone who wants to a chance to eat at this very popular restaurant. Monday – Wednesday tends to be quieter.
Expect views of the harbour from one side of the restaurant, and views of the Bristol Eye wheel and museum square from the other side.
Tips:
1. Lunch served until 4:45pm, but arrive by 3pm to avoid being charged dinner prices, as you are given a fixed length of time for your table
2. take the Bristol ferry (a public shared water taxi, check current timetable) from Temple Meads train station to arrive at the harbour steps close to the restaurant.
