The York Hotel is in the budget range, the staff are excellent and go out of their way to help you, especially Shaun. The rooms are clean and well furnished but need a bit of updating as it looks rather dowdy. The bed was very comfortable if you like a soft mattress. The bathroom was quite basic and lacked any storage for your needs. I don’t know if it was because I asked for a room with a walking shower as my wife has disabilities, but the view from the room was onto a brick wall, something to ask when you book. Weston itself has not changed for a number of years with a lovely beach and promenade. The major problem with Weston is the lack of parking if you want to go into town, plenty of parking along the prom. Unable to park overnight anywhere only the multi-storey which charges £10. The council have to rethink this if they want people to visit Weston.
