Reasons for trip

My daughter’s birthday and she chose for us to eat at Yo Sushi. Whilst being fairly adventurous with food, I’d never really fancied eating raw fish so was a bit apprehensive. We went on a Sunday when they have an incredible deal. 10 courses (yes 10!!!) for £20. We sat on high stools as lots of delectable dishes went past us on a continual conveyor belt. Edamame beans in their pods, amazing little salads, fish and rice wrapped in seaweed plus many many more. We could also order from the menu, one dish at a time, eg meat or tofu curry plus many spicy dishes. Delectable but rich little desserts – fresh fruit salads, creamy dark chocolate and strawberry creamy balls plus more.

It was really delicious. I wouldn’t rush back simply because it wasn’t the most relaxing of meals but, as a different experience, it was excellent.

A tip would be to wait for a table (called a pod) and have waitress service.
Downside is that you cannot book, have to queue, so if places become available at the bar on the stools, it is tempting, particularly if you’ve driven, as parking is fairly expensive after two hours.
