For anyone who enjoys the Maltese Islands then Xlendi in Gozo is a fantastic destination. The sparkling horseshoe bay is ideal for swimming, snorkeling, diving, water sports and trips. There are plenty of restaurants, little bars around the bay. A great little find is The Diamond, situated just off the front it offers a great selection of food, including Sunday dinners, Fish and Chips and a good selection of beers etc. It is run by Robin and Diane a great couple from Newcastle. For anyone who likes a slightly quieter pace of life then Gozo is generally more laid back than the main island of Malta. We have been to Gozo 3 times in the past 12 months including off season January this year and still had a great time, although of the island is a lot quieter the temperature was still around 16-18C most days.
