Set on the edge of Dartmoor, just a few minutes walk from the South Devon Coastal path, this lovely old farmhouse provides exceptional en-suite bedrooms & delicious breakfasts. The nearest village is picturesque Noss Mayo, which overlooks the River Yealm. The owners, Jackie & Phil, are so welcoming & went the extra mile to print out a detailed map of the best route to nearby Plymouth. Nothing was too much trouble & we really enjoyed our stay. The bedroom was charmingly furnished & the whole farmhouse had a lovely atmosphere. Jackie uses locally-sourced food, including eggs laid by her own chickens & fruit from her garden. She sensibly operates a 'no shoe' policy & provides slippers & dressing gowns to ensure that her guests feel cosseted. We stayed at the Farmhouse to attend a business meeting in nearby Plymouth (12 miles away) but will definitely return to explore the coastal path & beautiful surrounding countryside. There is also self-catering accommodation available if required.
