What a treat! A beautiful old Victorian house with a lovely garden, a very friendly and hopspitable hostess (Anne), who showed us around on arrival, allowed us to choose our time for breakfast (which was sumptuous), and even dressed in Victorian garb while serving us a delightful afternoon tea in the garden. We were provided with hand-drawn maps suggesting walks in the local area, which is quiet and remote and yet within easy reach of Stroud and other places. Highly recommended.
