I and two younger people could not check in for a Wizz air flight on a website titled “wizz air check in”. The furthest we could get was having our flight confirmed. Over and over again . Explaining this to the poor and sympathetic check in person at Birmingham airport was no use. He was obliged to charge is each £31.50 to check in and get a boarding pass.
A helpful Hungarian in Budapest told us that we could find a “Check in” heading on the main Wizz air web site, so the return journey was ok.
The web site headed “Wizz air check in” was mis-named. We explained this to Wizz air on our return, but they would not refund the money and did not acknowledge the mis-named web site.
No other complaint about the flight. but this was off putting. Beware!
