Winterbourne Gardens are tucked away, close to the University of Birmingham. They are beautifully laid out and include greenhouses, a bog garden and many trees and flower borders. There is also access through a wood to a lake with many waterfowl. The wood has wonderful bluebells in spring. The gardens are always peaceful and beautiful and you would have no idea you are close to the centre of Birmingham. Winterbourne House is beautiful especially if you like William Morris type decor. There is a tea room with lovely views over the gardens.
