There are four individual wood cabins built on the hillside above the road into Rattling Brook. There is a small parking area next to each and shared use of the BBQ (gas extra). We had a view through the trees across the bay. Stairs led to a balcony with a couple of plastic chairs and door into the nicely furnished cabins. There was a large kitchen/living area with two double bedrooms and bathroom at the back of the cabin.
The kitchen had a large fridge freezer, cooker, M/v, coffee maker, kettle and a good range of crockery pots and pans. A breakfast bar sat to and there was a circular table seating 4. The lounge area had settee, rocking chair, parker knoll style armchair, flat screen TV and mock coal effect fire which puffed out hot air. Internet access was intermittant.
The bedrooms at back cabin looked up the side of the wooded slope and could be a bit dark. They had comfortable double beds, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and open hanging area (bit restricted on hangers.) There were assorted signs stuck on walls telling you to turn off lights, and heat when went out. The cabins were not serviced during our stay.
