As my daughter and I are both National Trust members we were a little disappointed to discover that the Home Farm was not included in our membership fee. However this didn’t detract from our enjoyment of the Farm. Tractors that children can sit on (full size) and animals to see. My grandson, aged two, particularly liked the bales and straw in the barn which could be climbed on and walked along. The petting rabbit (Dexter) was delightful and the baby lambs, some newborn, were wonderful to see. Plenty of stations where small hands could be washed or disinfected and a play area with enough small ride around tractors for all – no fights needed.
All in all a great day out. Would recommend taking a picnic as all National Trust cafe’s seem quite expensive though if that isn’t an issue they are plentiful.
