Reasons for trip

I had a lovely day out to Whitstable a seaside destination in Kent. I visited on Sunday 23 August with my husband, two sons, their partners, granddaughter and her partner and we all enjoyed the day. It was beautiful sunny weather on the day and some treated themselves to the well known, famous oysters and sea food. There were plenty of venues to get a snack or a more substantial meal. There were also ice cream vendors selling a variety of delicious ice creams. The craft stalls were a delight and also stalls selling street food. Also a good choice of bars and pubs. The quaint high street has various individual shops. All in all a lovely day beside the sea.
