This is an amazing place to visit. The gardens have a few different walks you can do. One on the flat or another with steep slopes. Both are plainly signposted. We did the easier walk and it was lovely to be able to walk amongst the baby lambs and see all the spring flowers. There are plenty of seats dotted about for a rest if needed and there are plenty of places to have a picnic. We started off with a coffee and cake in the cafe and were going to go to a pub for lunch but the food was so good that we stayed for lunch. Staff very friendly and helpful. The river Lavant runs through the gardens and was lovely to sit by and relax before setting off for a walk through the trees. I think the gardens will look beautiful in the summer. A lovely place to spend a day.
