Hawes has long been our favourite place and the pleasure was enhanced on this occasion by the quality and welcome of our accommodation. We were greeted with tea and cakes in the Guest lounge with a lovely open fire. Our room was of a high standard with an en-suite shower room and anything else you could have wished for. Wayne, the host , told us to ask if we needed anything else. Breakfast was huge and delicious, from local producers and serves in a lovely dining room. The house is a short walk from Hawes centre and the only shortfall was off street parking although we parked outside relatively easily.
