If you are near Cardiff this museum is well worth a visit. The Elizabethan manor house is very well preserved although you can no longer visit the upstairs rooms. The garden, too, is a delight. Then wander round all the reconstructed historic buildings giving an insight into the lives of ordinary people. Entry is free also.
