This is a wonderful camping site in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. We have stayed here twice in a tent and family members have also stayed in a caravan There is a bar and restaurant which serve pretty good food. The toilet and shower facilites are excellent. This site is on a sloping area overlooking the Solent and you can watch the big cruise ships pass by as they all do a turn around before setting off on their voyage, it's great fun. There is an outdoor swimming pool and large children's play area. At the bottom of the site the road runs along the seafront and is a ten minute walk in Cowes where there is a Waitrose for stocking up on provisions. This site is very popular with caravanners and you have to book up early but it is one of the best sites I have been to. Recommended.
