Reasons for trip

We attended here mid week in early July 2013 as a mixed group consisting of us, the oldies, young adults and small children. There is a free bus from Rhodes town bus station to the waterpark which picks up enroute, we didn't use this as it was always full. On arrival we went up the hill to the park entrance on the free road train, the smallest wanted to do this, it would've been faster walking but she enjoyed this. Entry to the park is 22eu over 12 and 16eu for children, the queue was quite long and entry slow. The park uses a band system, this can be charged with cash for in park purchases which is a great idea, everything can then be put in the lockers 6eu however 5eu is returned when you take the keys back which is reasonable. The park itself is clean and tidy, plenty of staff around and good, clean toilet and cafe facilities dotted around. There are plenty of free sun lounges and a good mix of rides for all ages from the Kamakazi to the lazy river. The food on site is reasonable and well priced, there is a great section for small children at the lower section of the park, well attended and shallow. I would have been able to post photos however I took my non waterproof camera swimming in a rush to get in! not advised. On exiting the park via reception, take the wristband and get any unspent money refunded in cash, great if you buy it on a credit card and want the cash back later too. This was a good day out (apart from the camera incident) and we all enjoyed it.
