Reasons for trip

I recently won a pair of tickets to visit the Al Thani Collection and on Monday, together with a friend, visited. We commenced with a refreshing cup of coffee in the very large café before entering the exhibition. There were over 100 pieces to view some of which caused exclamations of wonder at the delicate working involved. Each exhibit had a detailed description as to provenance. Overall it was a very worthwhile visit. It took us about two and a half hours for a really good look. Could have spent longer but our feet were beginning to ache by then.
