We travelled to the Verandah for a week's holiday with our grown up sons and girlfriends. Upon arrival we were greeted with a welcome cocktail, and then driven to our rooms on a golf cart. The rooms were very large with a huge bed and a kitchenette (not sure why as we were all inclusive), but the best thing of all was the view from the verandah, which looked out to the lovely turquoise sea.
The resort was full, but very spread out so never felt so and was also very hilly, but you could call for a golf cart at any time, but we enjoyed the walk.
There were 3 restaurants, the sea breeze, the breakfast was excellent, full cooked breakfast, freshly cooked omelettes, fresh fruit, and waffles, in the evening it was themed, our favourite being the Mexican. We paid the $30 per person to eat at Nicoles, well worth it the lobster was incredible, the third restaurant also a la carte was very enjoyable.
Lunchtime we ate at the beach bar and grill, the views from here were lovely, looking our over the lovely beach, with all the free watersports.
The evening entertainment was very low key, but enough and the drinks(all premium brands) made the evening go with a swing.
There was a very large family pool, beds always available, no need to get up early to save one! We enjoyed the adults only pool, with free wifi.
The staff were 90% very friendly, just the odd glum face.
