The “Vale House Cafe”:http://www.valehousewirral.co.uk/ is in a heritage building in Vale Park on Magazines Parade. The setting is lovely in Vale Park and there is plenty of seating inside and out. The day we visited the service left a lot to be desired as they messed up our order getting one of the drinks wrong and leaving out the ice cream on one of the cake orders. They seemed very disorganized. However the food was good. We sat at one of the few tables left outside and enjoyed our coffees and cakes taking in the views across the park to the bandstand.
