Reasons for trip

Located near the junction of Hyde Park Road and Gainsborough Road in London, Ontario, Unger’s Market is a good lunch spot if you want a quick bite to eat. The food is home made at this family run market and deli. Lunch is served cafeteria style and you pay for your purchase at the cash register. If you are staying to eat, there are tables to one side by the window. On a recent visit, my aunt and I tried it out. I had the small quiche (broccoli), an oatmeal apple raisin muffin and a medium Cappuccino for $7.85 including tax. My aunt enjoyed her scotch egg. There are various pies, and other hot dishes and a salad bar.

When you finish eating you can check out the groceries and gifts on sale in the market. If you don’t want a meal, there is an ice cream shack outside.

There is ample parking.
