It was a busy bank holiday but we decided to try and get Sunday dinner at Uncle Henry`s in the countryside, where they also sell good quality organic produce, at a price. We had to wait a while to get seated but all the waitresses were friendly and apologetic about the waiting involved. It is popular, and when you receive your huge plateful of food you can understand why. My Beef Bourgounion was delicious served with seasonal vegetables, and my husbands meal was equally enjoyable. After our meal we browsed around the farmshop and giftshop and bought a few items for in our fridge. We also bought a porcelain mug and birthday card for my auntie. I must say the produce is excellent especially the meat, and vegetables. Its the sort of place you go to treat yourself after a hard week! The cakes are delicious here too. Outside seating in a pleasant courtyard means you can tan while you eat, if the weather is sunny. Outside there is plenty of parking, and some pleasant walks to be had. This Sunday there is a special day where you can see all sorts of animals, have a tractor and trailor ride, watch a dog show in the afternoon and peruse some craft stalls, as well as several other attractions, we are hoping to be there! its just off the A15, not too far away from Lincoln.
