I have just returned from a lovely stay at Ullswater Hotel Bournemouth. The food is so exceptional – wonderful breakfasts, really excellently presented and cooked. Fabulous dinners, from 3 course evening meals, also catering for vegetarians and dieters. Wonderful roast dinners with 4 large slices of meat, enormous portions, and brilliant fish dishes. Every evening is varied and the desserts are to die for! With large home made chocolate eclairs, to fresh cream trifles, gateaus, cheesecakes, nothing is too much trouble for staff. Also really delicious coffee served in the evening.
It's a lovely hotel, nicely furnished – very clean and not skimpy furnishings. Pleasantly comfortable and we had a super time. Comfortable beds and I had a really huge walk in shower.
I shall be returning to this lovely hotel which is only a stones throw from beach/gardens and lovely cliff walk.
Bournemouth has some super shops and also theatres, bingo hall and lovely fresh air. We spent a really nice five days here.
They also have ground floor rooms, and a lift.
