If you visit nowhere else in your life, don't miss out on the beautiful Troodos Mountains in Cyprus. My 25 year old daughter and I travelled to Cyprus after she had split from her then boyfriend of 2 years for a girly getaway. We booked a visit to the Troodos Mountains with our travel rep and were picked up by a guide in a landrover together with 2 other guests of the apartment block. We then travelled up the Troodos Mountains off roading on the way. We stopped at the top and even though the temperature at the bottom was 23 degrees, there was snow at the top. We took some fools gold as well to bring back with us. At the top there was a cowboy with a donkey, bizzare and a gift shop!! quite random!. The views from the top were fantastic including a beautiful waterfall. It was a very peaceful and relaxing day we had there and I would recommend it to anyone.
