TREVARNO ESTATE AND GARDENS near HELSTON in CORNWALL is a superb attraction. We as a family had a wonderful day out. The historic gardens and woodlands date back to 1246.The paths around the lake are lovely and the flowers and trees add to the charm. In the courtyard we visited the soap museum and bought some estate made organic soaps and skincare products. The meals in the conservatory restaurant were good value and the younger members of the family enjoyed the inquisitive peacocks walking around the tables and chairs. The National Gardening museum is located here .And very interesting it was too. Next door was the Toy Museum and again it brought back so many happy childhood memories to us.
