Despite the drizzle at times, we had a very enjoyable amble around the grounds. These are not extensive but beautifully maintained. Interesting time of year as the leaves changing to their wonderful autumnal colours.
The restaurant, shop and art gallery were all well run. Unusual to have a 2nd hand bookshop but different.
From the person on the gate, to any other staff encountered, we felt very welcome. Loads of extra curricular activities going on which were very handy for locals. Shame we don't live nearer!
