It was a most relaxing experience staying at the Tree Tops guest house in Moreton in Marsh. The owner was very pleasant and had a delightful little dog that came to check us out on arrival. Our room was very spacious indeed and the bed enormous, it was great to sit on the small settee in the room and watch TV, and sip a cup of coffee from the tray of kettle, cups n saucers etc. Warm and cosy too, the room had radiators that were on, and so did the fabulous en suite. It was comforting, as outside it felt cold and the autumn winds were getting to me. There was a book with information about Moreton in Marsh, the delightful little town. I was pleased to see the market was on in the morning. We had a choice of eateries, and chose to go to an Italian restaurant that evening. It didn’t take many minutes to walk to the main street. I loved looking at the galleries and shops nearby. Soon we were tucked up in bed and I slept well, as there was no noise, just peace and quiet. In the morning breakfast was served and it was delicious with the coffee and plentiful. The dining room was lovely and we also went to sit in the conservatory to admire the garden outside, before heading outside to the market. I had already paid so we said goodbye til the next time, it wasn’t expensive either.
