This is a modern building just off the A96 on the eastern edge of Inverness. There is a Holiday inn and Snow Goose pub on the site and it is next door to Tesco. Parking is reasonable.

We had an adequate welcome from the receptionist and declined the offer of a breakfast deal.

We were allocated a room on the second floor and were relieved to find there was a lift. It was a typical Travelodge offering. We were pleased there was a sofa in the room as it was somewhere to keep belongings off the floor. It was a large room with a long work area with space for a suitcase. The room however could have done with a repaint and the walls were getting grubby. The lid of the kettle was a bit dodgy and the bed soft and a bit bouncy. It could have done with a new mattress.

We found there was a lot of traffic noise if the window was left open. If we shut the window, the room got hot and steamy.

It was a convenient location for where we wanted to be and was a lot cheaper than the Premier Inn. Even so we felt at £150 for three nights it was a bit expensive considering the standard of the room.
