The Tower House B&B in the small and very picturesque Northumberland town of Warkworth sits on a corner with the most amazing view over the ruins of Warkworth Castle.
The B&B only has 3 rooms, so is friendly, cosy and perfectly placed for touring England's best kept secret, the beautiful county of Northumberland.
2 of the bedrooms are ensuite, and the room we stayed in has a private bathroom just across the hall (dressing gowns provided). The rooms are comfortable, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished with little treats such as bars of chocolate and fruit. Plenty of reading material supplied, and the breakfast was one of the best we've eaten in a long time – locally sourced sausages were great.
Our whole stay was very relaxing, with plenty of lovely walks in the town itself, and pubs/hotels restaurants locally for dinner each evening.
