Went here for pre-theatre food on 31 May. Chosen at random by my brother as “lots of Chinese in there so it must be okay”. It was more than okay. No tablecloths, paper napkins and metal chopsticks but great atmosphere. Open kitchen in corner. Variety of table sizes.
Waiter was really good at pointing out the not-so-spicy food and being patient whilst we took time to choose. Drinks list included korean beer and soft drinks, as well as the usual offerings (Coke, etc) and wine in individual bottles (sis-in-law had Blossom Hill white). Food arrived quickly and we were all amazed at the presentation; they’d really thought about it rather than just chucking it on the plate! It was delicious. Unfortunately, can’t remember names of everything we ordered but there was a sizzling beef, a mild stirfry-type beef, chicken & rice stirfry, pumpkin curry and a beef curry. All perfectly cooked.
Service was quick as they are probably used to pre-theatre diners. When we left at 7pm it was full. Bill for 6 including drinks came to just over £60. Pay cash and you get 10% discount; the waiter got this back as his tip. Interesting pictures painted directly onto walls; will have a closer look on next visit.
