Ting is situated on floor 35 some 128m above ground level in the Shangri La Hotel in the Shard.
This is a sleek, stylish hotel eatery with an Asian-inspired menu, thoughtfully sourced ingredients and with a panoramic ‘city of London’ view – that nowhere else can rival!
We have eaten here now on 3 occasions, taking in afternoon tea once and lunch on two occasions. We have been well looked after and the food has been out of this world.
I have taken my husband for his 50th, our 4 children (aged at the time 9-16) for our 25th wedding anniversary and my mother for her 70th (who absolutely hates heights) – but each time the experience has exceeded the last!
Allow plenty of time for your meal – this is not fast food! I reserve via Top Table and email prior to the day to request a window seat and so far I have been lucky and we have had a view up or down the Thames! They even do a children’s menu! The food is exquisite – not large portions but this is fine dining at its best. If you eat here there is no need to pay for a ticket to go up to the top of the Shard as the views are just as good and you get longer to enjoy it all.
