We had booked a very late deal to The Caribbean last February, and the long haul flight was something that we normally dreaded! However we were in for a huge surprise! As we queued to get on the plane we overheard people talking about the Dreamliner. Quite honestly I’d never even heard of it!! We were in for a real treat. As we walked onto the plane the feeling of space hit you. The aisles were wider, the overhead lockers larger, and not as low, so you weren’t going to bang your head! The best thing was the leg room. Amazing, the seats were so comfy too. Wow. Everything seemed plusher than usual.
We had great service, drinks were complementary, and the food quality great.
The plane in flight was so smooth, and best of all my ears didn’t pop! It’s apparently a new technology, so this to me made it so appealing. Another plus side was the air quality was very good. It wasn’t recycled, so the spread of germs not so risky.
I can honestly say, for once,this long haul flight was a pleasure, and now we will look to check that if we do long haul again that it’s got to be The Dreamliner!
