Reasons for trip

I travelled with Thomas cook to Lanzarote. I have visited Lanzarote 5 times over a period of 27 years and each time the island has changed a little but the airline service received has been virtually the same but NOT this time with Thomas Cook. On arrival I approached a Thomas Cook representative who directed approx 200 metres to the awaiting coach transfer. We found coach number 37 and the driver dully threw our cases into the lower hold. We got in the coach and waited then after the driver was satisfied he had all is passengers he got in his seat and preceded to close the doors to my surprise there was no Thomas Cook representative onboard (In the past trips there has always been a company rep on board taking you to your Hotel or apartment and during the transfer they gave you a introduction to the Islands history and places of interest also some of the best excursion to go on but NOT with Thomas Cook?).

The driver dropped off passengers at their Hotels and apartments and we appeared to be the last to get dropped off.

The driver stopped the coach and told us to come so we got out our seats and followed we appeared to be parked halfway up a long road. The driver preceded to take our cases out and put them on the pavement then instructed us to follow which we did .he walked us to a cross roads and pointed across to the road opposite said gestured to us to go that way. Well puzzled and confused we did struggling with a case and hand luggage each. He drove off leaving us crossing the road we then walked approx 150mtrs and finally found the apartment reception.

And from beginning to the end of the holiday we never saw a rep either at our reception or on the transfers only the one at arrival.
