Are you going to Bath for a short break? If so I have to recommend the Thermae Bath Spa. This beautiful spa (located near Bath Abbey and The Roman Baths) gets booked up a long time in advance so plan ahead! My friend and I were in Bath for a relaxing weekend but we hadn’t thought to pre book the Spa. Luckily we were able to get an appointment as some people had cancelled. We also booked a treatment We spent 2 wonderful hours relaxing in their naturally heated pools (one inside and one on the roof which has wonderful views of Bath). We had both booked a full body massage. I have had massages before and some have been too soft, some too hard and some almost painful! The masseur at Thermae Bath Spa managed to make the massage just perfect!

There are plenty of showers in the Spa and lockers for your valuables. Towels, dressing gowns and slippers are provided (don’t forget your swimsuit though).

Although it is not very cheap (our visit and massage cost us £96), if you want to treat yourself this is the place to do it!
