Just before entering Stamford Bridge from York you find this Vintage inn. Modern style but with log fires. Range of menu choices and a good plateful for the Yorkshire appetite.

Customer service is excellent and staff pleasant even when my sister complained her steak was well done not medium. It was rectified immediately and reduction in bill was made.

I have been 4 times in the past 2 months and had no issues.

Relaxing atmosphere and tables well spaced. The company seem to train their staff very well.
