If your visiting the south coast by Dymchurch take a ride out to the small village of St Mary in the Marsh. Once there visit the Star for a drink or a meal. They have a varied menu including curries, pies fish and snacks. Friday evening is Fish and chip night perfectly cooked and fresh. The hosts are extremely friendly and make everyone very welcome, as do the locals. The log burner heats the restaurant area in the winter. There is also accommodation near by. You will need a car to visit here as there is no public transport.
