The Shard took so long to build – it grew & grew & grew But it was well worth the wait for the fantastic view
Which way to look? First the Gherkin, then City Hall, Tower Bridge and Canary Wharf – the views had it all
Even Wembley Stadium Arch could be seen And in the City so many areas of green!
The London Eye gleamed in the sun The Tower of London was second to none
Once back down to earth the Gift Shop was well worth a look Well-designed Shard products and 'How it was Built' in a book.
And if you needed a cuppa, the old-fashioned way There was a canister of loose tea that made my day
I enclose a photograph – it really made me smile "The Brew From The Shard" – that's what I call 'style'!
