After we booked this 3 night break we found some very bad reviews of the Scole Inn, so were pleasantly surprised to find it a friendly, welcoming hotel with excellent food, helpful staff and clean comfortable rooms. The place could do with a bit of updating, but we found the quirky old-world atmosphere ideal for Christmas. The transport planned for the Boxing day trip to Norwich failed to materialise, but the hotel arranged a taxi service instead which was better than the original would have been.
