If in the area you must visit the Saxon Mill in Warwick. This is a lovely country pub in a beautiful setting overlooking the river. In the winter months you can cosy up in lovely armchairs next to roaring log fires and in the summer its great to sit outside overlooking the river.
The restaurant serves great food with a show kitchen. The restaurant is beautiful and some tables have stunning views over the river.
The staff are all dressed smartly and are extremely friendly.
Prices are variable but there are cheaper options on the menu. I can definitely recommend the Sunday roast although it is advisable to book in advance.
I could not fault this place and will definitely be visiting again.
