Almost every year for thirty years my wife and I have stayed at the Royal Hotel, at Woolacombe, and enjoy every minute. Whilst times have changed the glorious Woolacombe Beach and views are constant.
When we first stayed at the hotel the meals were waiter service, but the hotel has moved with the times and now have an excellent self-service breakfast and evening meal. There is always a wide choice of food, and plenty of it!
Our bedroom always has a balcony and sea view which is relaxing and romantic! My wife and I find the rooms spacious and comfortable.
The staff are always at hand and very helpful. Entertainment is in the bar most nights. We enjoy the style and variety.
I would recommend the hotel, which can be used as a base to explore the neighbouring area.
