I stayed here in Feb with my folk dance club. Superb value for groups. Accommodation tired but clean, comfortable and ‘fit for purpose’. 110 of us moved in and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Very good ballroom that we took over for our stay. Was also a room with disco for other guests and a bar, a very comfortable lounge with sofas to sink into, an area with panoramic views over the valley and sea where you could have a cuppa and a good sized swimming pool.
At the same time, a coach party was staying so probably not a hotel for a quiet romantic getaway but, for groups, absolutely ideal.
Mealtimes were buffet style. Food was freshly cooked and very good value for money with a meat, fish or veggie choice each day.
The hotel is just 5-10 mins walk from Woolacombe Beach.Fabulous very wide stretch of sand. Perfect for a blowy, mind – clearing walk with a delightful beach cafe to warm up with a hearty bowl of soup or indulge in a cream tea.
If you’re involved with a group who go away together it’s worth checking this hotel out
