Joy who runs Hedgehog Corner has a couple of self catering apartments/cottages which come with a local produce Breakfast Basket – fresh eggs homemade bread,local biscuits and preserves and other organic goodies.
Found the website purely by chance but what a find, Joy welcomed us with a guided tour of the cottage with a self contained lounge/diner lovely rain shower bathroom and cast iron bedstead all set in a secluded garden with views over bluebell woods and grass valley.
With walking distance of River Cottage a good local pub and Joy even provided a touch and hi viz jackets for your safety on the road
Quick drive to Lyme Regis and a few good restaurants and the famous Cobb.
Tasted the best lobster since being in Barbados in Hix's Oyster and fish Bar and the Sunday Lunch in the River Cottage Canteen in nearby Axminster.
