The Red Fox is a beautiful building set in it’s own grounds. It’s spacious and beautifully decorated. The bar is buzzing and the restaurant light and comfortable. The food was excellent with a great choice however service was exceptionally slow. This is mentioned in many a review and we knew that when booking however, our order got mislaid in the kitchen and so it was a little more than a normal wait. I have to say that it didn’t spoil the evening and the waitress was amazing. She recovered the situation amazingly well and we were very happy. Don’t let this put you off, it will be worth your visit. One other thing though we were a little unhappy about was that they served our wine uncorked. My husband asked that they replace it opening the bottle at the table. They did happily.
