My bedroom would be best described as ‘compact’ – especially if compared to a standard Premier Inn room. But the bed was comfortable, and fittings and decor were modern and fresh. There was a writing table, armchair, TV, and Tea/Coffee making facilities. Noted late in the evening that I could hear people speaking in the adjacent room, though they weren’t shouting. This inside room looked out onto a ‘well’ in the centre of the building, straight on to the opposite wall. Outside rooms would have a much better outlook. There was a good sized safe (for laptop etc), and BT Openzone WiFi (which pleased me as a BT Broadband subscriber – so I didn’t have to pay for access). Quite pricy but, as booked by the organisation that wasn’t down to me! Bar prices, as usual in this quality of hotel, were horrendous. Buffet breakfast bar got a wee bit crowded for a time, but settled down. The tea/coffee came very quickly despite that, and was delivered with a cheery greeting and a smile.
