I had lunch here with a friend for a good visit and catch up. The family who run the café are very friendly and did not rush us at all. We each had a couple of cappuccinos before we ordered our meals which enabled us to have a good natter. My friend had the Greek salad and I ordered the tuna, egg and warm potato salad. The portions are generous but not too large and the food is fresh.
The menu is quite varied; from pizzas and pasta to jacket potatoes, salads and sandwiches. There are also good breakfast options. I think on my next visit I’ll be tempted to try one of the pizzas.
The building is unassuming – it looks like it used to be a private house. Although there is no website for the café, they do have a presence on Facebook.
