Heller Botanical Gardens and Vittoriale Degli Italiani are the most visited sites in Gardone Riviera. Another museum here is so often overlooked. The Museum of the Divine Infant houses over 250 sculptures of the Infant Jesus.Started by Hiky Mayer the collection includes sculptures splendidly adorned in lace , pearl and gemstones. It's a curiously special collection of the Divine Infant with exhibits dating from the start of the 17th century. Situated just 500 metres down the hill from Vittorale the models are made from wood , paper- mache and clay. Absorbing, moving, fascinating and strange!
