The Mill is a delightful village pub, featuring a cosy bar popular with all ages, with focal point of a log burner surrounded by comfy chairs and a large roof terrace with plentiful seating and a covered area. The upstairs restaurant is ideal for a great meal after a day walking locally, or browsing the plethora of interesting shops in the village. You need to be able to go upstairs to the restaurant or terrace. But the selection of bar meals served downstairs is excellent. And you get to sit by the well preserved and lovingly displayed old mill wheel. The mill stream itself runs by the roof terrace. We had our last meal there shortly before the New Year restrictions. The pigeon breast Wellington starter was to die for!
