We visited The Malsters Arms in early September with family visiting from the USA, and they (and us) were extremely impressed the food and ambience. We are all ‘foodies’ and had been wine tasting before this at Sharpham winery, their restaurant was full so we travelled the ten minutes to Keith Floyds former pub and were certainly not disappointed. You need a good sat nav and nerves of steel to navigate the lanes, but once there the view from the pub out onto the estuary of the River Dart is wonderful. We had a fabulous lunch, lovely wine (except for myself as the driver), great desserts. Our family were so keen on the place they want to come back next year and stay overnight to enjoy the evening fare to the full. https://the-maltsters.co.uk/
