We lived in London for several years so felt we had a good knowledge however from the air it feels so different. Couldn't believe just how curvy the Thames actually is! Whether a visitor or resident this is the best way to see London. We flew from Battersea above the Thames past Canary Wharf as far as Greenwich/Blackheath.
Throughout the whole process the company has been professional and approachable. For those who like to do everything remotely the online system is easy, however, I needed to call up with a couple of queries and experienced excellent telephone manner. Even received email and text reminders on the day. Safety briefing was succinct but thorough. Do pack your bags and bits in the free lockers. Be warned the seats are snug so be friendly with your fellow passengers (max of 6) don't be prissy – it is only 20 minutes! Pilot was great – just the right balance of trust and fun with an excellent signposting dialogue.
I had been very nervous before hand but am so glad I did it and was on a high for days after. Do get yourself a taxi if coming from Vauxhall tube – it is a very, very long walk.
This is certainly not the cheapest of London experiences but the memories are just priceless.
